Emily joined the Cortland County SPCA as their Shelter Operations Manager in 2020 and was promoted to Executive Director in April 2022.
Emily is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences as well as Arizona State University where she received her Masters of Business Administration. Her degree focuses were in animal behavior, psychology, marketing and supply chain management.
From ostriches to lemurs to bats, Emily has worked with all sorts of animals in the field, sanctuaries, zoos, shelters, and even on stage! Revitalizing the SPCA's image and implementing new community programs are among her top goals.
Emily shares her life with her partner Ali and their pitbull Leila, the office mascot.
Jessica joined the Cortland County SPCA in 2020 as a kennel attendant but was promoted to Dog Care Coordinator and then Shelter Operations Manager.
She is a graduate of Animal Behavior College where she received her certification in Pet Grooming. She is also a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Jessica's goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for the shelter animals, and to help reunite as many lost pets with their families as possible.
Bill has been a law enforcement officer for the past 22 years. When he started at the SPCA in 2003, he was a humane officer, then investigator, senior investigator and has been the Chief Law Enforcement Officer here for the past 7 years.
He has also served as an auxiliary police officer, a town constable, and a security company's supervisor.
Bill's goal is to better serve our community and prevent cruelty to animals through affordable and accessible care.
